Kyler Murray @ TB – The electric rookie heads to Tampa Bay this week to take on Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers. He’s averaging 20 fantasy points per game and TB is 4th in points allowed to opposing QBs. This should be a fun game to watch with a ton of points scored.
Jameis Winston vs ARI – Jameis hosts the Cardinals in Week 10, who are 1st in the league in QB points allowed, averaging 25 FPPG. This will be an up-tempo game and has the highest total of the week, with an O/U set at 52.5. Fire up all of your Bucs and Cards this week.
Drew Brees vs ATL – Breesus is risen and he’s ready to lead the Saints back to the promised land. Atlanta’s secondary can’t stop anybody and they’re giving up 23.8 FPPG to QBs, 3rd most in the league. Tre’Quan Smith and Alvin Kamara figure to suit up for this one as well, giving Brees his full arsenal of offensive weapons.
Phillip Rivers @ OAK – The Raiders are 2nd in the league in points allowed, surrendering 24.4 FPPG to the quarterback position. Rivers and the Bolts have struggled in recent weeks, but after firing the Whiz, they toppled the Packers to hand them their 2nd loss of the season. Look for them to ride this high into Oakland to another W in a tight game.
Ryan Tannehill vs KC – Over his last 3 starts, Tannehill is averaging 23.5 FPPG. He gets the Chiefs at home and Patrick Mahomes appears likely to play, which I think helps Tannehill. He’ll be forced into throwing a ton to keep up and there should be plenty of opportunities to put points on the board.
*Start of the Week – Lamar Jackson @ CIN
*Long Shots of the Week – *Brian Hoyer vs MIA
Marlon Mack vs MIA – Miami ranks 4th now in points allowed to RBs, giving up 24.1 FPPG. With Jacoby questionable with an MCL injury and TY Hilton out, I expect Hoyer to lean heavily on Mack and the run game in this one.
Mark Ingram @ CIN – Ingram found success last week on the ground against the Patriots, but lost work to the Gus Bus. I think the Ravens may be on cruise control in this one against the poor Bengals, who just benched Andy Dalton. Lamar won’t have to do it all himself this week and should hand it off plenty to Ingram against Cincy’s 31st ranked rushing defense, who allow 25.6 FPPG to backs.
Ronald Jones vs ARI – Never would I have imagined I’d be starting Ronald Jones in Fantasy Football, but here we are. It’s Week 10 and RoJo has looked significantly better than last year, which isn’t saying much, but he’s earned the trust and starter role in a Bruce Arians’ offense, which is quite valuable.
Devin Singletary @ CLE – As expected, we saw Singletary take the reigns last week and go off for 95 yards and a TD on 20 carries and caught 3 of 4 balls for another 45 yards. Fire him up again with confidence against the hapless Browns, who are surrendering 20.5 FPPG to RBs.
David Montgomery vs DET – Monty appears to be the only reliable source of moving the football in Chicago after Trubisky fell flat on his ass last week against the league’s biggest pass funnel defense, the writing is on the wall. The Lions are now 1st in points allowed to backs, giving up 26.4 FPPG.
*Starts of the Week – Derrick Henry vs KC, Aaron Jones vs CAR
*Long Shots of the Week – Gus Edwards @ CIN, Jaylen Samuels vs LAR
AJ Brown vs KC – Brown saw 7 targets last week and caught 4 for 81 yards. Electric with the ball in space, I love AJ this week against the Chiefs. The Titans will have to throw to keep up in this one and it’s becoming clear who the alpha receiver is in the Tits passing game.
Mike Williams @ OAK – Mike “Air Yards” Williams draws a dream match-up against the Oakland Raiders, who are 2nd in points allowed to WRs, averaging 29.5 FPPG. He’s been on the cusp of a nuclear game for weeks now, consistently racking up a ton of targets and air yards, and I believe this is the week the bomb drops.
Zach Pascal vs MIA – The new defacto #1 WR in Indy gets the Dolphins at home, who are 7th in points allowed to WRs, conceding 26.9 FPPG. Whether it’s Jacoby or Hoyer, Pascal is a safe option this week.
Christian Kirk @ TB – Kirk is in a smash spot this week against the Bucs, who are 1st in points allowed to WRs (30.4 FPPG). Fitzgerald is finally showing signs of slowing down, and Kirk has plenty of juice. I love Kirk this week in this exciting shoot-out and Kyler targets him a ton, never seeing less than 5, but as many as 12 looks a game.
Devante Parker @ IND – Parker has quietly put together arguably the best season of his career. He’s currently on pace for 104 Targets / 56 Receptions / 800 Yards / 8 Touchdowns. I expect the catch rate to come up, and with Williams out for the year, it becomes a one-man-show. Indy is currently giving up 21.3 FPPG to WRs and we’ve seen what a little Fitzmagic can do.
*Starts of the Week – Chris Godwin vs ARI, Sammy Watkins @ TEN, Keenan Allen @ OAK
*Long Shots of the Week – Josh Reynolds @ PIT, Jamison Crowder vs NYG, Tyler Boyd vs BAL
Hunter Henry @ OAK – In case you haven’t noticed, I’m high on the Chargers this week. Oakland is 3rd in points allowed to TE, giving up 10.9 FPPG. Henry has been a beast since returning from injury, and I expect him to be one of the league’s top tight ends for years to come.
T.J. Hockenson @ CHI – We finally got a decent game out of Hock last week, but he still left some meat on the bone, only reeling in 3 of 7 targets for 56 scoreless yards. We’ve seen the Bears get eviscerated by TEs, ranked 5th allowing 9.1 FPPG. Ertz reminded us last week he’s still a force to be reckoned with and a top option in the league, and sooner or later, Hockensen is going to make something of all the opportunities he’s getting.
OJ Howard vs ARI – Flowchart week? I guess we’ll find out. OJ is good to go and was a full participant at practice Wednesday. Hopefully, Arians finally lets the Juice loose against the first ranked Cards defense, who surrender 15 FPPG to Tight Ends.
*Starts of the Week – Darren Waller vs LAC. Austin Hooper @ NO
*Long Shots of the Week – Gerald Everett @ PIT, Mike Gesicki @ IND, *Jonnu Smith vs KC
Bills vs Browns – I don’t think I need to explain why the 4th ranked defense is a good play, let alone against the reeling Browns and Baker Mayfield who consistently turns the ball over, with 12 INTs already this year.
Ravens @ Bengals – After knocking off the undefeated Patriots, the Ravens have shown they are the real deal in the AFC. Now they face Ryan Finley in his first career start for the 0-8 Bengals, who have one of the worst O-Lines in the league.
Colts vs Dolphins – The Fins are giving up 13.4 FPPG on average to opposing D/STs, and the Colts unit is strong. I certainly see some sacks and turnovers happening in this one with the upside for a defensive TD.
*Long Shots of the Week – Cardinals @ Bucs
Derek Carr vs LAC – Carr has been a good QB this season if you are into ~14 points per game from your QB. Sit him against the Chargers 5th ranked pass defense that just managed to shut down a red-hot Aaron Rodgers.
Baker Mayfield vs BUF – Baker is on our sit ‘em list so much we might have to start charging rent. He and his sad dad mustache come up against the Bills Mafia this week that is giving up an average of 12.5 FPPG to opposing QB’s.
Kirk Cousins @ DAL – Kirk “I love my wife” Cousins has been on fire recently, but temper expectations for this week’s match-up at Dallas, who give up the 5th fewest fantasy points to QB’s this season, at just under 13 FPPG. Shout out /r/KirkCousins.
Devonta Freeman @ NO – I am sorry to Freeman owners who thought they had drafted a solid RB2 this season, but this man is washed. Stick him on your bench this week when he travels down to New Orleans, who comes into the game as the 4th ranked rush defense and gives up the second fewest points per game to RB’s.
David Johnson @ TB – DJ looks to be back to full health now, but if you can afford it, keep him on the bench for this week’s matchup at Tampa, who rank as the number 1 rush defense in the league. Wouldn’t be surprised if he shares the load with Drake this week either.
Todd Gurley @ PIT – Todd comes back from the bye, but we truly don’t know what his workload is going to look like this week against the Steelers, who give up the 7th fewest points to RB’s this season at 15.2 FPPG. Worth noting that Darrell Henderson got more touches than Todd last time they played.
Joe Mixon vs BAL – Is Joe Mixon the most disappointing fantasy draft pick of 2019? He comes up against the Ravens, who have the 2nd ranked rush defense in the league. The Birds just handed another fat L to Sony Michel, only mustering 4 PPR points last week, and Mixon’s O-Line is considerably worse.
Kalen Ballage @ IND – Ballage came into the season as the 3rd string RB behind Kenyan Drake and Mark Walton. All signs point to Ballage being the RB to get the bulk of those carries left behind, but don’t expect your waiver wire addition of the week to get many points going forward, as he still plays for Miami and his name is better than his talent.
Odell Beckham Jr vs BUF – How in the world is OBJ producing worse in a young offense with Baker Mayfield than he was in a stale Eli Manning lead Giants offense?? Sit him when he lines up against the monster that is Tre’Davious White this week.
DK Metcalf @ SF – DK might only run one route, but boy does that route work well when you are bigger and faster than the opposing defensive back. He does come up against the number 1 ranked pass defense in the league that has been making receivers disappear, so he will probably have a hard time putting up points this Monday night.
JuJu Smith-Schuster vs LAR – JuJu is being nerfed by QB Mason Rudolph. With this conservative offense and the matchup against Jalen Ramsey, stick JuJu on the bench this week.
AJ Green vs BAL – AJ Green finally comes back after a year of no football, don’t fall for the trap this week when he faces Baltimore who should keep rookie QB Ryan Finley, who makes his debut, on his back often throughout the game. He also is going to share targets with Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate who are no chumps.
Jason Witten vs MIN – Witten had his regularly scheduled feasting on the Giants this past Monday night, but don’t think that will continue this week against the Vikings who give up an average of just 5.7 FPPG to TE’s this season.
Jack Doyle vs MIA – Some thought Doyle was going to be getting a lot of targets in the absence of Hilton last week, but his numbers stayed low with only four targets, even if he got a Tuddy. Sit him this week against Miami, who hasn’t been awful against TE’s, only allowing 6.4 FPPG.
Tyler Eifert vs BAL – I don’t know if anyone is still rostering this man, but please don’t start him now or ever really. Raven’s give up the 5th least points to TE’s and AJ Green comes back to take even more of his target share.
Titans vs Chiefs – Pat Mahomes looks to be back for this week’s matchup against the Titans. Sit Tennessee as Pat Mahomes should have a field day against this swiss cheese secondary, who just placed CB Malcolm Butler on IR.
Cowboys vs Vikings – The Boys have put up good points against divisional rivals their past two outings, but sit them against the Vikings, since Dalvin Cook will look to shred that poor rush defense.
Packers vs Panthers – CMC comes to town this week to play the funnel-like Packers rush defense. Even though Kyle Allen has been throwing INT’s, CMC should have a field day and put up plenty of points to keep Carolina in this one.
